MaterialBusters

MaterialBusters is a new L&D team ramping up in Spring 2022!

How durable are phone screens? Are these “waterproof” shoes really waterproof? What’s the elemental composition of the GT Pi-Miler plates you see in our sidewalks? MaterialBusters aims to critique and analyze materials from everyday products to either confirm or bust manufacturer claims using materials characterization and measurement techniques found in the MILL.

Please contact Anush Singhal (asinghal74@gatech.edu) if you’re interested in joining!
