Signing Into the 3D Printer on SUMS
Before submitting a 3D print request (walk to the far side of our facility in Love 176 to do so), please sign in at the front on the kiosk. Be sure to sign out when you leave! This helps us not only track printer usage and ensure fair access for everyone but helps us get more funding in the future to make our facility even better.
How to Read:
Hours and minutes – The amount of time that the print currently on the printer takes to make.
Open – Available for Printing
In Print – Print Currently in Progress on Printer
Down – Printer is in Repair
Model – Type of 3D printer (MK3 and MK4 are different models of Prusas)
Print Queue – Number of Prints Currently in Line
